Lilian Engel is an award-winning sculptor. She has exhibited her work extensively, and her sculptures have been purchased by private collectors in Paris, Hong Kong, and the United States, including the permanent collection of The Art Students League of New York. 

Engel creates expressive, sculptural forms from natural materials, drawing inspiration from both nature and the human figure, often leaning towards abstraction. Her work is characterized by smooth, organic shapes that move through space evoke contemplation while fostering a connection with the natural environment.

Engel’s artistic journey includes a BA in Liberal Arts/Theatre/Scenic Design from Rhode Island College. In NYC, she continued her education with graphic design studies at the Center for Media Arts and the School of Visual Arts, followed by intensive sculpture studies at The Art Students League of New York, where she won the Nessa Cohen Award. Her studies also included a summer workshop in Pietrasanta, Italy.
